Some of my dogs' favorite treats on Amazon
This is my first time posting links and I am having trouble getting them to work, Hang tight.
By clicking my links below and making a purchase, Amazon will know I referred you and I may earn a commission.
I wouldn't steer you wrong. 😊 My dogs love these! They come in different size packages. The 1 lb. size has about 4 treats in it.
These holders for the treats help them last longer and make them more challenging for the dogs.

Charitable deeds. Matthew 6:1 - 4
Just a reminder for myself today. Looks like many of us need this in the social media age so I'm sharing.
I did a good deed today and was dying to tell someone so I could get a little pat on the back, but that isn't why we give or do acts of kindness.
God sees, and your reward will come later.

Thyroid disease
I posted this on my Facebook page a few weeks ago.
I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's disease (chronic lymphocytic thyroiditis) over 20 years ago. Until I became a patient and started learning as much as I can about this disease, I had no idea how much of my life would be affected by it. I thought taking medicine every day for the rest of my life would be the worst part. It isn't.
I'm grateful that I have a wonderful endocrinologist (finally, after going to at least 5 different practices) and seem to be on a medicine that's working for me but ugh. Even when the meds seem to be working, the side effects of this disease don't disappear. I
I know it could be worse, I could have a much more serious medical condition, but living with a chronic illness, with no "visible" symptoms, can be really, really challenging at times.
In my experience, the more research I do, the better patient I am and I can help my doctors treat me to the best of their ability.
If you feel like something is off, don't let your doctors tell you there is nothing wrong until there is no stone left unturned, especially for women.

New Jersey Department of State - Division of Elections
I like seeing people engaged in political discussions, but I am absolutely baffled by the number of people who don't vote, or aren't even registered to vote.
Don't complain about a thing if you don't vote, please register to vote and vote when it's time. Don't say politics don't affect you. They absolutely do if you live in this county.
Thanks in advance.

Another sad occurrence in my hometown.
Happy Father’s Day!
☹️👎 I thought the whole day would pass without seeing a post for a single mom on Father's Day on Facebook. Nope.
A single parent is hard working, loving parent but doesn't make them the other parent. Father's Day is for fathers, Mother's Day is for mothers.
My blog, my opinion. Enjoy your day!

Ewwww, a hair scrunchie
I'm bummed that I couldn't find a better video, but I think of this scene in Sex and the City every single time I see someone wearing a scrunchie/scrunch. If I was the Fashion Police, I would double the fine for this offense.
I hear they're coming back, don't care. I think they're hideous (there's another scene from SATC for the word hideous but I'll spare you. )
I used to love those stupid things and has tons of them, but it was the eighties and I was a teenager. I had then to match every outfit. By the way, do you know that your hair accessories should match your hair color and not your outfit? I did. 😁
I'm sure "the rules" don't apply to children.

Adventures while gardening.
Anyway. That was long and not as interesting anymore as it was when I started writing it. Oh well.

Another Pet Peeve
I can't stand it when women wear headbands behind their bangs. To me, headbands are to pull all off your hair off of your face.
Happy Monday. Hope you had a great weekend!
